Rental terms and conditions

The following terms regulates rental of apartments at Antico Borgo di Ghiora and are valid for all rentals, apart for what differently agreed with the management.

  • From May, 1st to August, 31th the rental period is from Saturday to Saturday and minimum 7 nights. From September, 1st to April, 30th shorter stays are possible, but for a minimum of 3 nights (for quotations please contact us via mail or telephone).
  • Check in time: 15.00-19.00.
  • Check out time: by 10.00.
  • To confirm the reservation we request a deposit of 30 % of the total amount due. The rest of the payment must be done on arrival. The deposit requested can be paid by bank money transfer or by credit card.
  • On arrival client must pay the final cleaning cost as indicated in the price list breakage deposit of € 150,00 (only cash). This deposit will be refunded on departure less any money due for breakage, damage, and/or any supplementary expenses. The client is held responsible to the property owner for any costs in excess of the deposit.
  • Cancellation policy: should the client, for whatever reason, cancel a lease he will have the right to repayment of all money paid minus the following cancellation charges:
    • cancellation prior to 60 days before the lease is due to start: 10% of the rental price;
    • cancellation between the 59th and 30th days before the start: 30% of the rental price;
    • cancellation between the 29th and 15th days before the start: 75% of the rental price;
    • cancellation between the 14th and the day before the start of the lease: 90% of the rental price;
    • no show: 100% of the rental price.
  • Animals are accepted.
  • Services included in the rental price:
    • Reception Desk open in flexible hours.
    • Outdoor swimming pool open from 1st of May to 15th of October.
    • Barbeque.
    • Table tennis and rackets.
    • Mountain bike
    • Consumption of cold and hot water and electricity
    • Outdoor car park reserved
  • Services not included in the rental price:
    • Heating (on consumption).
    • Italian cooking classes on request.
    • Tasting of wine and typical Tuscan dishes (only in the summer period), buffet on board of swimming pool with music (on request, min. 20 people).
